I have a fruno 587. It's developed a air bubble under the screen, to expensive to fix it was advised just to replace it. Now it's still working, I'm unsure what life expectancy is, so if anyone interested in it make me a offer. It has the original power cable, no transducer cable as I've kept it for the new model. Have receipt and instruction manual. The photo show the bubble around the top edge of screen and down the sides.

I have a 12 inch tx touch furuno,a 16 inch simrad nss evo2 and simrad 12 inch nss unit with the same delamination except more extensive. They all work perfectly and the oldest is 7 years old, the bubble areas have not spread and all have full functionality. With the units pod were up the screens are fully readable, i still use them with out a problem,. keep them going untill they fully break down. Best wishes Paul.
