G'day guys,
Quick question about how the Waroona Dam fishes for redfin at this time of year and how is it best to go about it as a beginner? Any help appreciated for the Pinjarra upstream area too.
Cheers

Colder months are the best
Colder months are the best time to target Redfin IMO. Havent fished Waroona for a while but got a few out of Wellington Dam yesterday. Best area at Waroona is usually up the dam wall end, Redfin are not to fussy so baits like worms, minnows or lures should see you get onto a few. You only have until the end of the month as Fisheries WA dont want you catching feral fish over the July/August period when the freshwater season is closed.

Still plenty of dams and the
Still plenty of dams and the major rivers and their tributaries are open all year round.
River and stream reddies taste better too.
