Gnarloo for the first time

Howdy Team,
We're venturing north to Gnarloo for the first week of the holidays and taking the tinny up.
It looks like the winds wont play kindly for the first few days but we will get a few days before the (not yet formed) ec TC comes to see us on easter Sunday.
Is there anything I should know about boating up there, or anything I should be wary of?
We're staying in 3 mile.

Hey Paul, 3 mile is a beautiful spot but don't launch there head up to the bay. A lot easier and safer.
We sometimes fish north of the bay in a southerly , just anchor off a bombie and light leadheads with bait.
Let your tyres down slightly at the King waves kills sign, that's what we do. Car to around 25 and usually do the boat to 35 if the track ids reasonable we can sit on around 70km hr.
Make sure you troll for mackies in at least 20m of water and steer clear of any breaking water, but you'll know what to do. Deep divers work really well.
