But surely the government would not allow chinese and russian owned business to develop a windfarm on our door step, its wrong on so many levels.
As bad as leasing the Darwin port to the chinese, I understand capital investment is need to get big projects through the FID process but there are other criteria in selecting proponents other than commercial capacity.

Can't be putting it in the sound as they're extending port operations & the nuclear sub program for Henderson too
how much of garden island is actually used by the military? Would be a massive eye sore but surely they can jam a heap of them on the unused space there? Not that I agree putting them there, but what's with the obsession of putting them in the ocean? The cost of maintenance vs land based would be astronomical when you start factoring in survey & all the maritime requirements for comercial vessels

Read this morning the Kwinana Motorplex is now set to move to Burswood, or is this another April fools ?

Not sure if it's the same facility but there has been some serious talk about building a racetrack at Burswood. They moved it all away from residential and now move it back again? Absolute waste of our money yet again.
