Metro FADs / Billfish reports anyone?

Hi all, sunday looking like FADs and rotto basin may be do-able, just wondering if anybody here has been out? any mahi on the FADs? any billfish been caught? Thanks for any feedback cheers Dave

FADs
Was out last weekend on the northern FADs. Water was really dirty and green. Saw mahi on each FAD, but they weren't interested. Managed only 2. Water temp around 23C. Sunday conditions look mint.

Marlin have been very few
Marlin have been very few and far between this season, especially when you look at the collective effort involved. Mate caught mahi last weekend but not in big numbers. Never going to be a better time to try than now with these conditions!

Offshore surface temps and
Offshore surface temps and current strength charts at the moment are just about the best they've been all season, definitely worth a look. I'll be giving the mackies a good go then look for a salmon on the way in
