Just really getting peoples opinions on these rods if you have used them all the better.
I recently went into ranger and had a play with a few. both are 15-24kg overheads . the Rapala is a braid series and the other was made by gladiator. Are these middle of the range rods for a reason or worth investing. The gladiator was around 220 and the rapala braid concept was 299.
Would like to hear peoples views. Many thanks.
Also has a 30 saltist that i may sell if anyone interested PM me. will sell with braid on it. i think it has 40lb to 50lb jigman on it. dont quote me though.

I have the rapala 24kg overhead.
They are a good rod imo, I use it for just about everything in the boat. The price has gone up since I bought mine, I paid $230.

Gladiator
Picked up a 10kg,6foot Gladiator rod for $10 bucks at a garage sale.Didn't know much about it untill son asked if he could have it,never realised it was so expensive.
Have used it casting metal lures with an Abu 6500,makes a good balance and casts a mile, well nearly.

i have a rapala 10/20 kg 7ft7
and it is a awsome rod only thing i have been warned about is the lack of varnish on the rod makes it easier to scratch which can cause them to snap but if you look after it and dont throw it around it should be fine
