Been in a 4.5
Highly impressed with the 4.5 Centre Console. Very sea worthy, stable and pretty good ride. You definately notice the difference between that and a tinny. Having the double skin makes the ride quiet and smoother that other boats its size. Any they are not too heavy. Definately lighter than a glass boat and a touch heavier than the aluminium. Overall, great boat so I guess the 5.3 would be miuch the same.

After hearing from a few
After hearing from a few experienced crew i dont rate them at all.
- Tiny Gunnels
- Have to have maximum horsepower, fuel consumption goes up
- Loose heaps of deck space as the sides angle in to the deck and don't follow straight down like most boats
Cheers,
Sam

The only polycraft i have been on was on the swan river and boy, it was a wet ride!! I wouldn't recommend them.

i know what you mean about
i know what you mean about the sides angling inward Sam , and no rebate for your feet when leaning against them
it wasn't as bad of an angle on the bigger 2 poly's but they sure seem wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide for the length.
