Mooring Ideas

Crew....
Taking a 5.6 centre console up to Yardie in a while and trying to work out the best way to moor it in the shallows not far off the beach...
I'll be pulling it out anytime the forcast isnt so flash but hopefully it stays out the front for a couple of weeks on the chain at the ready....
Been trying to come up with a good idea....
I've got a few in mind but thought i'd put it to the genius's here on FW....
I'm happy to buy a decent length of chain and will have a shitload of rope...
What i dont want to do is cart anymore crap 1500kms so hoping i can get something in EX or make something up there....
Ideas??

I just use a pair of plough
I just use a pair of plough anchors with one set for the southerly and one that would cover n/e. Plenty of chain and make sure the warps are well protected from chafing.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Chain and anchors
2 (appropriate) anchors with plenty of chain on both is all you need. Use your boats normal anchor/chain, and keep the other one in the water on a float as a mooring.
Both anchors off the bow, so she always sits nose into the wind, but try have your anchors around 45-90 degrees apart.
This method has never failed me with any boat or in any conditions.

Does Yardie work like Winderabandi?
I know the orientation is different, and the southerly blows along the coast there instead of off the land, but could you use a running mooring like we do there? Saves having to swim for it twice a day. If the bottom is good sand, one danforth, a bit of heavy chain, enough rope to go out and back, and a star picket.

Be careful with mooring off
Be careful with mooring off Yardie creek and surrounding areas. Had a shit fight with fisheries/ marine parks in regards to setting a mooring at Yardie a few years ago. We had a group with four boats all moored off the beach. Fisheries sent a boat down and dived on all our moorings while we were all out, then came to our camp later that day and tried to fine us for having a mooring in a marine park. We all told them that it was a lot of crap as we were only running a larger anchor with chain which was used for the boat and the tender.
Long story short, they rang me weeks later with info in regards to mooring. Apparently, its an anchor while the boat is connected and a mooring when the boat is not. I couldn’t see the problem as the tender was connected when the boat wasn’t. I had to request a permit the following year just to save another shit fight.

All boats were good, may drag a little but no issues. If you get one of the sites next to the path way then you can leave a light on in the boat and you can see it at night without getting out of bed.
I just use a fluke anchor with about 10m of heavy chain and about 5m of rope. Its hard ground so the anchor doesn’t always grab that well, I think the chain dose most of the work. Its holding a 7m ali. If the wind is up I just drop the normal anchor in as well with a couple of meters slack for a bit of added security.
