Don't know about you guys but I'm over it
The kayaks got cobwebs growing on it and the front yard looks like a beach.
Really feeling for the crews out crayfishing, gonna be some messed up pots out there and it looks like this Southerly is in for the next week or so...

do you reckon the numbers are thinning uncle, or just got enough? We're pulling ours out tomorrow also. couldn't be bothered moving the pots around to follow them, have ours in 18-20m behind 3mile and noticed numbers have dropped this last week. Got plenty in the freezer and haven't even started diving for them properly yet.

I'm sick of it aswell,
I'm sick of it aswell, chucking out bream lures at times and almost coming back and hitting me in the head. What happened to the hot dry summer with the occasional gust of hot wind :P

I was hoping for light winds
I was hoping for light winds as forecast by BOM. Got up at 4.30 and there was a 25 knot southerly blowing. Went back to bed

Yep this wind is shitting me to tears, never had a problem with the wind messing up my pots though, just the 3m+ swells, we still get out to check the pots on the five, but it's not very nice, with the ban nearly over I have my fingers crossed for a good fishing day this next week, but it's not looking too promising.

Whingeing barstewards
What a lot of whingeing barstewards, we have had 25 knot southerlies every day up here for the last 3 weeks and then only dropped to 15 knots for a couple of days.
Starts around 0400 SE 15-20 then swings S-SW 25+ till after dark. People wonder why when the wind drops there are no tradies willing to do their jobs because they have all gone fishing to make the most of the small window of calm weather. Possible why I'm having a break up in Exmouth which isn't too much better either

How do you think us landbased nuffys feel throwing 8 gram lures 10 meters in hopes for a herring. Nah there's heaps of choppers around actually they seem to be loving this wind I've got my limit every night the last week
