I like rock fishing
But it can get very bad when the swell is up,and you can pick up bigger fish and nice eating fish 2, Good rock hopper and harness with rope a must.

Sugar Loaf
Also heard that some monster sambos and other good fish come from Sugar Loaf rocks, maybe worth a shot. But like Sherbert has said, harness, rope and safety are of upmost importance on the south coast. Seen and heard some terrible stories over the years.

Sugar Loaf
fished sugar loaf quite a few times for sambos.. I never managed to land one but my mate got one around 15kg and his brother ben knight has caught quite a few there biggest i know of went 38kg and featured in wangler and fisho. Ive caught quite a few salmon there plus skippy and massive herring in plague proportions. Its a pretty cool spot that get you access to deep water, one time a huge whale burst out of the water right in front of us it was so close we could of jumped on its back... Also watched a shark and a massive pod of dolphins cruise past. The best time to go is before sunrise during the week so your guaranteed the good spot. You have to do alot of climbing to get to the rock face and its a pretty dangerous spot to fish when the swells up. Theres no way out if you fall in, ive been told quite a few people have died there. Youll need a cliff gaff to land anything decent.
some bream i caught..http://s620.photobucket.com/home/lightertheif/allalbums
