land based crabbing in the swan

Hey guys,
Boats in for repairs for the next two months or so. I haven't tried crabbing off the shore but i would like to give it a go! Looking for a ledgend to point me in the right direction haha =p Anyone want to share a spot or two so i can get started ?

Jetties along the all the
Jetties along the all the rich suburbs like north freo, peppie grove, if you can get acess they are good areas to try, claremont jetty but you battle sports, apple cross , freo bridge etc etc etc
a hard days fishing still beats work

canning,walk from scouts all the way to the boat ramp along the rocks and limestone wall with a scoop net allways see about half a dozen big males in nee deep water when wading for bream.

Early morning, late arvo into sunset and a rising tide will increase your chances!
