It has been several weeks since I was last up Jurien way, but I fished Hill River a couple of times this winter and that stretch of coast was always fairly clear - even the time I fished there on a big swell, big westerly and nasty weather.
On the north side of Jurien Sandy Cape was mostly weed free but it is fairly sheltered. Anywhere further north there was a lot of weed both on the beaches and in the water.
