Hi lads
Heading up to Jurien bay 15th-18th June from Perth, with my new (to me) 20ft pacemaker. I haven't had much time on the water with the boat so was going to try gain as much info before I make to trip up with it.
Not asking for your GPS location, just some general tips to help land some half decent fish (hopefully my first dhufish) and to stay safe in area!
Also there is a high chance I'll be heading out solo most of the time, so if any one on here is in town your more than welcome to join me.
Hopefully the weather gods are kind to me!!

we had success due west of the ramp in 50 to 70m.
Take note of nav info though as we got some air off a wave that stood up in the shallows of the south track.

Jurein bay info
Went to Jurein bay in april this year for the 1st time.
13-17mt outside of islands(south)worked well for us.
baldie's ,pinkies and dhuies.
Study your navigation.
BOM "Geraldton Coastal Waters Forcast" main one we used.
And take look at the "Jurein Bay Marine Park" PDF, there are a lot of marine reserve areas you can not line fish.
Also look at "Department of Transport Jurein bay" heaps of boating info on there.
Hope this helps.
Let us know how your trip goes.

If your fishing in close, we've had luck going to the south of Escape Island and fishing the 15 to 25 meter drop off. Just keep an eye out for where the swells are breaking and stay north of the Hill river sanctuary zone.
If you head out along the northern lead line about 10 miles out there is a wreck thats marked on most sounders. There are usually a few mulloway that hang out on that wreck but it can get a bit crowded if other boats are already fishing there.
If your heading out deeper we've had luck fishing the back of the bank where it drops from 70m down to 100m
