anyone have any info on what works for our 3 mile skippy, should be able to tackle bigger and better fish soon, but skips are good fun on light gear, what shitty winds for next week

Give those a shot uncle, I was out a while back and it was really quiet, nothing taking drifted pieces of squid or mulie. I chucked one of those placcies on and had the skippy following it up to the boat.
Good luck

Any of the 3-4 inch plastics
Any of the 3-4 inch plastics will do! Theyre actually quite aggressive fish when you burley them up and got a school under the boat! The scented ones like gulp are more prone to picking up wrasse and shitty fish tho

Jigs all the way for them.
Jigs all the way for them. They smash the Caprice Kids in 50gr
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

flickbaits
70 and 85 mm squidgy flickbaits on 0.5/1.5 gram finesse heads are hard to beat, pilly , mackeral, white and evil minnow colours all work well. cheers
