does any one have one or used any other similer.
and also are they any good and what price range you paid.
this one is only $150

got the exact same unit mate
had it for yrs! very simple and easy to use - only downside is i dont have a chart on it... possibly you can load them or buy them from somewhere for the etrex
but yeah good unit mate....... basic but good for price and very accurate!

Going from the garmin 72 to this one: Garmin GPS Map 76CX which cost $450. Should be here by early next week, will let you know if its any good but expect it to be gold.

I have that unit they work a treat but as the others said no map and I dont think you can load one on it either, I paid $99.00 for it not on special so shop around $150.00 is expensive for that unit

I have a 76csx as a backup
I have a 76csx as a backup on my boat and the mapping works well but it did cost me about $450 for the unit with dashmount.

Can you input co ordinates
Can you input co ordinates on the etrex and navigate to those co ords or are you only able to save waypoints you are already locataed at.
