going for a troll with my skipper and mate luke (fishon570).
Being two first time trollers with minimal experience, i was hoping a few of the more experienced trollers could give us some tips of what lures to use (deep diving or shallow swimers) and general areas or specific areas if you like ;) to try. targeting maccies

hit up the spot we were stuck at mate... they were macks on the sounder under the bait schools no doubt... In hindsight wish i decided to troll straight thru it instead that day haha.

Hardly an expert here but we always use atleast one deep diver and one crazy deep for mackerel but have had them hit skirts on the surface before. Use old faithful crome pink and red head scorpians and laser pros 150 and 190's never let us down so too scared to expiriment. good luck mate!

My mates had success recently
My mates had success recently with macks trolling live tailor on a downrigger, depth dependant in depth of fish on sounder, works when theres weed around, only need to troll slow. Like any lure fishing weed on the lure means no fish.
