gives the long version ... or you can type it in google and it uses the google calculator.
The misconception is that 2 (3) is brackets.... the brackets is just the bit in brackets, the 2 outside the brackets is multiplication and is done left to right along with division.
I see how you get 58 but I still disagree, if you pause the video you've linked at 1:34 you see google has actually changed the equation to what I mentioned before to put the 6^2/3 in its own brackets which totally changes the equation.
I still stand by BIMDAS in that to process the equation the first step is to not only look at what is in brackets but "process" the brackets and reduce the equation by elimination of the brackets, which is the first step of BIMDAS. So the very first thing to be reduced in the entire equation is the 2(3) to remove the brackets from the equation.
The missconception would be that BIMDAS is tellingy ou to only process what is "inside" the brackets but its not, it is to reduce the equation to remove the brackets as the first step.
All good that there is a youtube video that says its 58, and they "proved it" by typing it into google but then the fact that google changes the equation when it actually processes it just shows me that its flawed.
Aaaaaaanyways, I stand by 10 and lets get back to fishing lol
I'm agreeing with you Jevs, but I'm going to get my son to have a look at it cold as he's actually a bit of a maths wizz studying physics and electrical engineering. Not like his old boy who's a lowly boilermaker. Will be interested in his answer (Will ask for working out ha ha)
Another take on this, after talking to the son again. Apparently both ways can work and it's an age old argument proving a dilema with the way the problem is written.

IT IS NOT TEN
BODMAS / BIMDAS whatever .... but the brakets are just around the 3.
the 2 (3) is multiplying 2 times 3 (not in brackets).
so it is 36 / 2 x 3 +4
so the answer is 58.
try it in your scientific calculator is you want proof.

Still BIMDAS
BIMDAS isnt just about brackets, you still do division and multiplication before adition and subtraction.
The equation breaks down to 36 / 6 + 4, so you still do 36/6 first then plus 4, the answer is 10, no way around it.

Your equation
To get 58 the equation would have to look like (6^2/2)(3)+4

I get 10, and so does my calculator.
When you type in the equation, and then press "=", the calculator puts in the extra brackets around the 2(3).

EXCEL says...
58
type it in to excel spreadsheet.
Excel inserts a multiplication between the 2 and the 3, ie 2*(3), which is what 2(3) really means....

need a better calculator
My fancy one gives 58, so will your smart phone if you rotate it 90 degrees on calculator mode to make it a scientific calculator.
The Casio above has to insert brackets to make it 10

Rule to hold on to...
Im late to the party.
In BIMDAS, multiply and divide are equal, so the left to right rule takes precedence.
Stop playin' with yourself, Hooper. Slow ahead, if you please.
