Went up to flatrock on saturday left at 4.30 am 3 /4x4s got there after driving very close to a bush fire. We arrive alittle after 5.30 am, a bit of water comeing over reef but look very good with wind coming from behind us. Caught some big bull herring/whiting and some flathead, had some big hits/tailor maybe, I got my son a 4x4 last week so he spent his time getting a beach driving lesson off one of the guys while we fished.

We left about lunch time passing a bit closed to the bush fire.
