Fishing for Dhuies Ledge Point

 Hello fellow members,

 Looking for some advice when fishing for Dhuies at Ledge point heading up there for a week with the kids want hook them their first dhuie any advice would be helpful  thanks also dropping the craypotsin should do right in the shallows uo there?

 Yes mate, plenty of good ground slightly south west. Just find the hard bottom and drift.

 What sort of depth are you fishing sea kem the ground I'm looking at on navonics is about 4nm out in 25-30metres of water out in front of the big sand patch.

 Yeah try that and if you can get out in front of windmill reef there's good ground there too in 30m. 

I fish outta Seabird and always try 20-25m first for Pinkies early in the morning before heading out deeper.

 Yes the platform is north of seabird have fished from the platform and windmill passage, in the thirties hard bottom. Its all good out there

 I dont know, my suggestion would be look where everybody else has them, and follow like a sheep, thats what i would do.

 I will be at seabird for New Years in the dinghy trying to get a couple of dhu's my self, we have pretty good luck in the 8m to 12m range around the area because there are a lot of bombies to choose from. Good luck.
