Rottnest Kingfish and Landbased Fishing

Hi Guys,
I'm Heading to Rotto for a week in soon and i'm looking to catch some Yellow Tail Kings and anything bigger (eg. snapper, rays, sharks). I plan to get up early ride to some of the beachs in the west end.
What Bait and location is best for these things?

Radar Reef
Radar Reef in the afternoons and just on sunset.
Many trips with the Surfcasters has seen the YTK's come through and have rods bent over and lines going under the platform.
The western most end of Radar basically facing Fish Hook bay. Be careful if you are going on your own and watch the tides.
I did then the best that I knew how. When I knew better, I did better.
