Yeah the great white pic was taken by a mate who was just getting ready to get into the water and noticed a dark shadow cruise in and took the pic from the side of the boat, Pretty lucky

I dont go spearfishing that much anymore but the deepest I have speared a fish was in 25m of water but I doubt I could do that now.

Mack attack!
Very impressive spaniads! Admire you spearos. Big balls. Is that big big tiger in that first shark pic? I dunno I'd rather swim with GW than a massive tiger. White pointer will hit ya once wait for ya to bleed out then finish u off. A tiger will keep biting and biting, literally eating u alive. I love tigers haha

Great fish on the straight hook.
Some of the mackies would have been a hand full. A couple of the grey suits to make life interesting.

Cheers fellas, The top pic is
Cheers fellas, The top pic is actually of the first mack I ever speared which was off the Abrohlos and weighed in close to 20kg about 5 years ago and the other pic of me standing in the boat was around 35kg off Coral Bay, good luck to your son Paul they are great fun on the spear, I dont spear that much any more due to losing a mate and it was getting to the point where I was pushing too hard and heading out further and further and now that I have littles ones to provide for its not worth the risk.
Cardinal, funny enough I think I trust tigers more than most sharks I've come across mainly due to them always being calm and but they are sneaky bastards and its not uncommon to turn around and have one "sitting" at your fins when on the bottom, That one in the pic was around 4m and as wide as 44 gallon drums
Sea-kem, haha small world Alley cat has passed through a few people, Does John still have Feral Cat? Say Gday for me when you see him next.
