Lets all cross the tees and dot the i's huh?
I didn't say in my previous post, because it would have been longwinded and boring, that PGFC members with bigger boats said they went wide and checked the FADs on the way out, they didn't report fish, in fact they reported more dollies closer in.
Sigh.

Weekend
Fished it in my tub Ron. Weather Saturday was fine for the fads after a bumpy start early. Your mate could have got there fine in a boat similar to yours.
Sunday was a different story and nothing like the forecast. The rough weather seemed to stir up the fish thou.

Well - for my 2c, I was out
Well - for my 2c, I was out there on Sunday, and got a dollie (in around 100m near but not at the FADs).
Weather wasnt pleasant, but it wasnt unfishable
Lets hope this Sunday is better!
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Ahh I hear Sat was better, but West End Rotto was very barely fishable in at about 6am, maybe it got better later.
