Do marron freeze well?

Thinking about heading down for a marron fish tomorrow night, have only eaten them fresh, heading back to work Friday and was wondering if they freeze well? If not might leave it until I'm back

dont think so
back in the days before licences, tried freezing whole, fresh and cooked, they go pasty, has any one tried snap freezing in a blast freezer?, have heard slow freezing makes the meat mushy . Never tried freezing cooked and peeled .Marrisy.

Freeze very well.
I froze some that I bought in Pemby, just warpped in heaps of glad wrap and froze in the deep freeze.
Not the little box on top of a fridge and the meat was good 3 months later.
