outdonit with his latest post got me thinking I do know a croc was photo'd in the tug pens at point sampsom ( I have them some where) and locals in Onslow have told me they have spotted them in Beadon creek I know there is a regular contributor to this site(cant think of his name) from the WA museum that is a fountain of information I was wondering if he could tell us how far they could get down south before its to cold for them for me they are scarier than sharks

Shark bay
A good friend in shark bay told me a salty made it all the way to just north of monkey Mia but never made the news they don't want to scare the tourists

Most recent sighting is south
Most recent sighting is south of coral bay near Waroora.
Heard about Point Samson.
Also heard Hearsons cove, Hedland Harbour/spoilbank, pretty pool, ashburton and beadon and the creek south of Learmonth.
A mate swears a croc launched itself off a bank in balla balla in front of his tinny so id say theyd be in the yule and degrey for sure.
Its always on the back of my mind when in a creek with my kayak.

Shark bay
Going back a few years one was spotted south of Carnarvon in Shark Bay and his tracks were seen in the mud at different spots over a few weeks then it disappeared.
The most recent one was off Warroora station not so long back.

Definitely a few around
Definitely a few around Hedland. I know a guy that cast netted a couple of babies right in town. Not in any numbers to be a serious concern though.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

I spend many days, every year
I spend many days, every year in some of the most isolated creeks between Robe River and Yule River. Some of the little creeks I have fished in probably only see 2 or 3 boats a year.
Never have I seen any evidence of crocs.
I will keep a look out, as always and maybe one day I will get to see one locally.

Could be interesting!
Ive got no experience with crocs, but I read that if you approach one on land they will always try to get away. If they cant get away who knows!
