I see Airmar have now released the '
Airmar CHIRP Transducer M265LH,
1KW in Hull, like the M260, now compatible with :- CHIRP transducers can also be used with Furuno sounders and fishfinders that have selectable frequencies, including the FCV-295, BBFF3 and DFF3 models. Question is, at almost half the price of a R199 2Kw, are they going to be twice a good ?

according to the review i read a few months back
they are meant to be miles better! but why would the price be so cheap if they are so good??
