Changing an over head rod to a spin rod

Howdy all,
I have a Live Fibre Texalium ZWS70MST 15kg over head rod surplus to my needs.
Could I remove the first couple of guides to make it a spin/cast rod to suit a Saragossa 25000?
If so what guide sizes would you recommend?
Cheers

It CAN be done.
The proper way is to completely strip the entire rod, including reel seat, and rebuild everything on the opposite side. But to be honest, I've built a number of rods, spin and overhead, all on the same side, and have never had any problems.

Used an old overhead rod for years as a spin rod, caught some pretty big fish on it and never struggled. Wouldnt rely on it for a once in a lifetime fish but shouldnt explode first cast or anything. Might be like fishing with a broom and could break randomly but eh
Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.
