Boat building

Hey guys I'm thinking about making a small wooden dinghy, 3 to 3.5 meters long, my grandad makes boats so he has all the tools, just wondering if anybody here has made one similar and if there are any guides or plans you can buy to help? And also how much would it all cost? I'm looking to make one that can be fitted with a motor
Any help will be appreciated cheers

As Nico said, look around for Hartley plans, he had them out and all instructions for anything from 2metres to about 20 metres and nearly all types, rowing, sailing ,displacement and planing hulls.
