Lotto win has Karratha buzzing
The West Australian July 25, 2011, 11:23 am

Karratha residents are keeping a close eye on their neighbours today after a Division One Lotto ticket was sold at a local supermarket.

The ticket, worth $864,914, was sold at Woolworths Karratha but the winner is yet to come forward.

Woolworths staff member Michelle McCutcheon said there was a buzz among staff and customers.

"We hope the winner is one of our locals, but it may also be a tourist as we have quite a few people who travel to the area in winter," she said.

A Karratha couple in their 50s won $595,442 in October last year after buying a Division One ticket from Karratha Lottery Centre and Newsagency.
