Australian Junior Billfish Tournament - Exmouth
Please see below the tournament flyer for the upcoming Australian Junior Billfish Tournament in Exmouth.
It is a WAGFA sanctioned tournament and is all about the kids.
Last year we had competitors travel from QLD, VIC & all over WA with 6 kids catching their very first billfish with the youngest competitor a smallfry female aged just 7.
I would encourage you to consider (even if you don't have junior kids of your own) to take a neice / nephew / friends kids / next door neighbours kids etc fishing to experience the addictive past time that is Game Fishing.
Nowhere else in Australia has the close proximity to the fishing grounds and the numbers of billfish than Exmouth, making it the perfect venue to host this tournament for junior anglers.
The event coincides with the school holidays.
The cost is only $25 per junior angler which includes a tournament shirt.
The following guides and tournament sponsors still have these dates available if any of you wish to take advantage of their local knowledge & expertise.
Captain Eddy Lawler, Peak Sportfishing - 0408 734 717
Captain Ben Knight, Ningaloo Sportfishing - 0437 917 427
I will be sure to post a full report at the completion of the event.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Regards
Scott.

Yes, as it is a WAGFA (Western Australian Game Fishing Association) sanctioned event there is a requirement to be a member of a game fishing club. Juniors can join the Exmouth Game Fishing Club for $36 per year.
