The old guy there is a top bloke and was nice enough to give us a tour of the fish farm.
He also told us he recently found a dead barra washed up on the bank of one of his ponds which was dried up. It still weighed in at 4kg.
He said the barra wont be active for a while yet, as the water is just too cold.
From the ponds I have caught barra, bream, silver perch and a big salmon sized coi carp that gave my reel a nice work out.

Nice fish I've only managed one trout, weighed it at 2.2 kilo (: im pretty happy with that tho

love the selection of species where abouts is this i love trout fishing but only been around warran river clover cottages trout ponds

its on Mundejong road about 5 k's from the freeway they have a farm shop there too with cray, marron and fish tanks...
