Conservative
I'm usually fairly conservative with weight but she was easily 60lb.

What is average for these fish boys, all the photos seems massive? Are they easy to come by...esp for a tourist?

Common
One of the more common species encountered above the 26th parallel, keep an eye out for that road sign as your heading north Roger.
Average size around 9-12kg in my experience, often encountered in schools of similar sized fish. The larger fish (25kg+) are more solitary, spending their time marauding up and down reef drop offs.
Good clean fighters, take lures willingly, easy to fillet and nice on the tooth.
