go up to the rest stop along waneroo rd not the light horse but the next one up its a fair way past the first rest stop its called wilbinga grove. go through the tracks till you hit beach and fish along there you should be past most if not all of it then sorry im a bit vague i just know my way lol beach is pretty boggy so if you have another 4wd you could attempt it but if you were on your own i would give driving on the beach a miss.

 as matty said, go all the way to wilbinga grove. There is reef patches everywere along there, but there is some pretty good beach areas north. 

I was up there yesterday arvo and I haven't seen so much weed floating around for a while. The SW winds are keeping weed moving and it's almost impossible to set a line.

The winds look similar up until later in the weekend so I wouldn't expect conditions to improve much before then. Leemo and Matty are correct, the beach opens up at the north end of Wilbinga. There will no doubt be a lot of traffic and campers up there so be careful on the way in and out.

By this weekend it will be unfishable, But if we get east winds soon it will blow back out to sea

I was there today and ever 2nd cast it was weed, WE got a big flathead on Smile jack And a bag full of tailor on plugs and bait
