Not me! We have been going
Not me! We have been going there every second Chrissy for a long time but last years weather put us off for good. Heading North instead. Good luck if your going, there's always fish there as you know.

south easterlies
Great fishing but beating those summer south easterlies is a real challenge. It's all worthwhile though on the few days the wind behaves.

Never Fails
My favorite place, if the the weather behaves then you will do well. Love this place and have been going there for 35 years. May get there for a few days later in Jan, feed of marron will be good as well. I will also be back at easter time, weather is often better then. Hope you all have fun and I wish I could be there as well.

The weather is a bit of a hassle particularly with the storm last year but at least down there you have options. You can almost always find a spot out of the wind close by.
It is the reason we started going for two weeks last year. We did manage three days offshore last year and given at least the same this year we may actually start to learn the ground.
Now there's an idea Brad. How busy does it get at Easter?
I'll be in the orange Barcrusher and black Pajero, drop by and say gday.

Hi Carl, i` m pretty sure i saw you down there at xmas a couple of yrs ago,you just got the boat i think?. Contrary to popular belief, you don`t need to head out to far to get good table fare, unless your chasing big Dhu.

Hi mate, yeah we have done
Hi mate, yeah we have done alright just in the Nornalup inlet getting a feed and fun times on light gear. Usually find kg's, skippy, sand whiting and bream. Still got to crack the thumping yellow fin. Last year got a couple of queenies and a foxfish not far from the mouth but haven't found the pinkies or dhuie's yet.

Easter
It is busy at easter, we have sites at Rest Point year to year. Usually if you book a couple of months out then you can get a spot. I sometimes have a free site which I cancel a month or so before easter. So if you are interested in headind down there at easter then drop me a PM. Always do well on the fishing front at that time of the year. The weather is usually favorable, at least for a portion of the week we spend there. In 30 odd years I think there has only been 1 year that we havent managed to get outside for a fish. Then there is always the inlet for a little light tackle fun.

good place
Walpole is a great place. And i dont think it really matters where you o at christmas the winds will get you.
You dont need to go far out at all to get good fish down there. We only have a 12ft tinnie and consistently get good pinkies and dhuie down there.
