Which braid for Quobba
Submitted by Brad Park on Tue, 2013-11-05 18:38
Hi all,
heading to Quobba in a few weeks and wondering what braid most prefer to use up there. Always used power pro, fins or suffix but would be interested to know what others use and why. I like the idea of thinner diameter for casting but worried about that around the rocks. Any suggestions would be great.
cheers, Brad.

i always buy the expensive
i always buy the expensive diawa braid. through my experience i have found the more expensive braid you buy the less likely you are to get wind knots and its very thin

Tuf-line
we have been using 30lb & 50lb tuffline for the past 4 years at quobba. Very tough and good around the rocks. Have had a couple of fish wrap me up on the rocks and no breakage.
Also cheap on ebay -

Heading up there again end of next week
