it was only a season or 2 ago that they never left metro water's for the whole year , now, I haven't heard of a catch yet , let alone the numbers that were here.
have I missed all the reports or what??

Very thin
SBT's have been very scarce this season, thats for sure. I agree for a while you couldn't put a lure in without it getting belted. Kids loved going out and trolling for them.

Not many
Havent seen many around at all.
Have got a few smaller ones and some Marlin lollie size ones but not much else.
Even the stripies seem quieter than they were at the end of last year.

I've reckon you're right.
I've reckon you're right. when you look at the temps we get here , and the temps they seem to prefer , you'd think we'd get plenty over winter/ spring.

Have had the odd school show
Have had the odd school show up down south but no great numbers like last year. They peaked last year in the bay around march when water temps were around 25 degrees. Also had marlin show up around that time. Maybe its more to do with the strong Leeuwin current we had last year rather than water temp.
