Took Wednesday off to make the most of the perfect weather.
Quietish day, but the fish that we're brought on board we're good! PB baldy (570), 470 black bum, and another bluebone.
As usual, few undersized snapper and dhu's also caught and released.

Alot better than me!
Good fish and great day to be on the water!
Managed to get the day off as well and head out to the inside edge of direction bank from Ocean Reef for the first time.
Not much to show for it unfortunately.
What depth did you fish Torquenfish?

Both tuskies from 45m or
Both tuskies from 45m or there abouts, the black bum from 35m (few mile closer in). You're in the right area, so persist with it. We tried probably ~10 different marks and only 2 produced fish on the day.

Ah yeah so not too far off, managed to pull some fat sand whiting and a 470mm flatty from the sand around a few small lumps that i found in 30 to 38m.
Thanks for the advice, wasnt sure if a quiet day or not looking at the right thing on the sounder.
Definately heading out there again when weather permits.

Gotta love the baldies, they go hard and taste good. Smicko weather in the arvo off rocko. I would have had an identical bag but chucked the blackarse back in the hope of bigger fillets!
