Thursday: N/NE winds 15/20 knots, easing to N/NW 13/18 knots by early afternoon. Winds easing to 8/13 knots towards midnight. Seas to 1.5m. Swell to 2.0m, easing.

I certainly wouldn't be heading out into the open ocean with that forecast, maybe the river or the sound, but will be pretty windy mate. I'd be looking for Seas to 1m or under if you want to head out deeper, swell is less of an issue unless you're fishing shallow water where it could break. Weather is always a tricky one to read, a lot of the time you can read all the forecasts and it could be totally different out on the water. Better safe than sorry though I think.

 Cheers goodz the sound is where I was gonna head so far I've learnt the best way to find out is Accualty head down I'll be sticking close unless the weather allows to move out a lil bit
