Trout on the way to Albany?

Hi All,
Heading down to Albany this long weekend and was wondering if there were any places from Perth to Albany where we can fish for trout?
Also, any reports on Salmon biting in Albany? Will be fishing at Cheynes Beach and possibly Nanarup Beach.

went to both of those beaches
went to both of those beaches last Sunday and only saw 1 fish caught at Cheynes, 1 small school of about 6 small salmon and that was it there - in 4hrs, at Nanarup there were a couple of groups fishing, flicked lures for about 1.5hrs walking up the beach and saw no activity anywhere. On Monday also went to the Salmon Holes for a look for an hour and didn's see any activity.
Was the first time down that way and also the 1st time I have taken the missus and our 1 yr old boy fishing with me, and they loved it - he was goign crazy running around on the beach and making a mess of himself! Lovely area, will be going back next year, maybe just a month or 2 earlier!
