i have ever caught ..sulphar bay 12 years ago. it went a smidge under 16.3 kg. my eldest in pic was in grade 6 primary, (couldnt pick it up) had a nose like a pigmy elephant. back then i thought record was 16.7. so i didnt bother getting weighed on registered scales. i believe old reg still has state record caught off malibu dive wreck (unsure). mine tasted like crap. my fault left it frozen for 5 months, didnt have the heart to cut it up, i even bought new freezer to keep it in, (sad) ,
