Trout fishing harvey dam
Submitted by bussogirl on Thu, 2014-12-18 15:47
Heading down south tomorrow for couple weeks, going to Harvey dam for marron season again and am keen as to catch my first rainbow trout, is it worth even bothering this time of year?

Seems to still be a few trout
Seems to still be a few trout turning up at Harvey though it has been a very cool start to summer but that is about to change tomorrow. Still worth a try very early in the morning when the water temps are at there coolest.

The bigger trout always come
The bigger trout always come out to feed late at night. We regularly get bis trout during marron season flicking lures around between checking baits.
I'm guessing the piles of pellets act as burley.
