Hey guys goin to be doin some trolling after work with dads mate as we are working in safety bay atm and he has a boat there too :)
So the question is where abouts in rocko/warnboro sound area have they been getting these mackies and at what depth? What type of ground do i look for?
Also are teasers good for mackies if so which types?
Thanks, Marko.

the mackeral were caught
about fifty metres of the beach straight across from the bp servo in wakiki and have been seen jumping around that area since! but they were caught on baits! trawling i would be heading to the back of the five or the north end of garden island!

We scored more than a couple
We scored more than a couple last week working the ledge that runs behind Pengo's up to North End of G.I., used a couple teaser birds and swear thats what made the difference.
17 to 20mtrs is always a great place to check, typical mack depth really.
Coventry would have to be worth a troll around too if the weather let you, chocka's with baitfish at the mo but hard getting past the rat kings n sambo's.
Good luck.
