Hi guys, new member.
Chasing some info on good Taylor spots been thinking either Burns Beach or a beach near Mandurah, I don't have access to a 4wd, would like to target these for the fight/ sport.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Hi Tim-o, no I don't have access to any form of water craft (boat or kayak).
Thanks Justin, what sort of weight would they be getting to as I have 2rods that I really enjoy flicking around with, 1 is 1-3kg and the other is 3-5kg.

No idea mate but you will be ok with those setups, just play it right on the really light stuff, would be a lot more fun than the 20lb mono I run but they still put up a nice fight.

6lb braid will bring in a 40cm tailor with a bit of drag work on a 1-3 rod no dramas. might be a little hard to get a heavy bait out though

Mandurah
ANy beaches around there does hold Tailor. Just look for foam and nearby reef between Halls Head and the Cut. Best always sunset and rise.
Also the cut southern inland side. Bite limited most off the time to just before sunset to just after dark. Not big ones but fun.
I use lures, esp smiling jack's, the Mrs a Mulie.
