Tamala Station - Commodore 670 All Rounder

We are going to steep point in June, and were going to boat across from Denham. However we are curious whether any of the Tamala sites were capable of launching and retrieving a 6.7m Fibreglass Boat.
I did search the forums but could only find vague details on whether it would be possible.

You could launch at Tamala.
I certainly plan to launch the 6.4 m Reefrunner there, based on previous experience. Tea Tree camp would have to be on half tide or above ( for ANY size boat.) Baba Head looked better the one time I used it, but I'd check before assuming it was good on any tide. I can't comment on the east side of the peninsula, some camps have launching, some don't.
if you were thinking of doing it as a distance-saving thing, I wouldn't--just so much easier to run straight across the sound and down the marked channel from Denham.. I don't know if you would save any water miles, only some road miles. I'm actually planning on launching at Baba Head for a 3 or 4 day cruise around the peninsula in spring as a shakedown for bigger trips like the Monties.

I got in contact with Tamala. They reckon much over 6m might be a problem. Looks like Denham is the go.
Previously had smaller boats we towed all the way in.
