tackle store break in.

Carrington tackle was done over recently. By the damage done they were not professionals. More like meth zombies with sledge hammers.

great shop, great customer service think they have been done over 3 times in the last year it is those bastards doing these things that will force great shops like that out of business and increase prices in the shop

Serial numbers

Fri, 2014-01-24 22:09

Read something about the expensive reels being stolen and that they have recorded the serial numbers and if you get a cheap Stella or Saltiga and put it in for a service you might find you won't get it back and a visit from the boys in blue

 if only the cops/fisheries

Fri, 2014-01-24 23:40

if only the cops/fisheries could/would put in the effort to patrol local boatramps, jetties and beaches and compare serial numbers of stolen reels to a checklist. its a long shot but might find a connection. id be happy for them to check my gear if it helped stop these scumbags

Perhaps it is being done by

Fri, 2014-01-24 23:59

May be these robberies are being done by the human excrement that can't get into ATM's to get the money to pay for the reels. So what is the most logical (to these types any way)thing to do, steal the reels from the sports shop. Just a thought. To be serious though I can't see the normal fool/breaking in and stealing top line gear, I'm more inclined to think this is being done by someone who knows what will get him the highest dollar on the stolen goods market and that is why he targets that stuff, or it's being done to an order for someone.

Safes

Sat, 2014-01-25 04:54

Is it possible for the stores to put the expensive reels in safes at night and placard the fact in store?

The expensive rods could even fit in a gun safe when you think about it.

Sun, 2014-01-26 12:08

Which tackle stores haven't been broken into lately by this crowd?

Electric reels? These must be going out of the state? or not?

where are all these high end

Wed, 2014-01-29 13:21

where are all these high end reels going to, im sure if these guys tried to sell them in wa they would get caught, u think they are selling them interstate? Man I cant stand people like this, I mean if u cant afford it too bad. We all work our butt's off so we can buy some nice gear and these fools not only damage the property but also do away with their most valuable possessions. Would never think that bw tw in morley would get done over such helpful guys there, no one deserves this.

I think

Wed, 2014-01-29 14:11

I think alot of the gear is going interstate too. I have been looking online and most people selling this high end gear (in WA ) offer a reciept of purchase . There is alot for sale over east and plenty are brand new with no box etc.

I have also talked to a few people in my area about fishing gear for sale, but come up blank . ( i wouldn't buy anything, just get info. There is no way i would buy stollen property, people should understand buy buying this stuff you create a demand, and these junkies are very willing to supply at the loss to bussiness and hard working people )

I realy hope they get caught soon, and it wouldn't surprise me if it was one or two groups who are doing the bulk of these breakins .

sick of these muppets getting away with this sort of sh!t. Work hard to get your pride and joy, and look after your gear, only to have a low life scum sucking oxygen thief dole bludging druggie respectless piece of crap take it cause they think they want it and don't want to work or pay for it. Bring back the death penalty for these pricks, this is worse than playing with someone else's missus. Or even better anyone caught stealing another man's fishing gear (personal or shop) should get their right hands cut off, fat good it will do for them when they can't reel in the fish of a lifetime, and if they do it twice take the left hand off too!!!!!

His nose might not be that big

Unfortunately being night time the light and shadows when zoomed can create a false impression

Also looks like he might have a moustache and beard, but it could also be a trick of the lighting

from my observation, Seems

Wed, 2014-01-29 19:33

-they must have been to the store before and know where it was stock.

- Question 4:34am would be shortly before sunrise?? ----- Based on Willy Weather, sunrisesunset.willyweather.com.au/wa/perth/perth.html

Sunrise was at 5:52am, and first light was 5:19am....

I have not been Bluewater tackle before but would there be businesses opened early during that time? especially light industrial companies ?

If i were doing a drive pass the store, I would be suspicious of a car parked in out of shape parking especially if i have been there or shop before, as per picture 2.
