Swap pots

hey fish members just a quick one
i believe I can swap a cray pot at sea, as it needs to come home for repairs
as long as I pull the first one up before I drop the other one i take with me in.
Would any one agree with that please?

You can only pull two pots
You can only pull two pots per licence, and up to six pots per boat if 3 or more licences are on board. You can only have 6 pots max on board. If you are pulling and replacing a pot you can do that as long as the licence holder of each pot is on board is my understanding.

Yes
so I can take a pot with me, pull the broken one up and bring it home
and still check my other one. I will only be pulling my two but taking a third for an ocean swap

All good
My understanding of the regs. You would be fine to swap your pot at sea. As Randall has said, you would be within regs
