Swan salmon trout

Is it common to catch salmon trout in the swan? Got this little guy earlier while going for flathead was a bit of a surprise, crap photo my camera died and had to use a phone.

Otoshi from the site got some wicked ones in the river and Liam and I have gotten into some 40cm Herring around point walter sand spit before thinking they were salmon trout (rookie days).

I got one just like that from under the freo train bridge on Thursday arvo, I just thought it was a herring.
