Swan Crabs

Has anyone been getting many crabs in the swan?
Had a little bash yesterday near the narrows and had no luck.
any tips on where they are?

Swan Crabs
Lower reaches mate in deeper water around Mosman Bay and early mornings in particular.
The upper reaches around Narrows normally fires more so end of Jan/Feb.

Yep I remember being able to get 40per boat easy,back at ramp by 9am.middle of January onwards(plenty of hot wheather and no rain.)not the same now.

Was out last night
Started at narrows ended up at black wall reach not one crab caught got a average mully though 75cm and alot of small choppers but very dead on the crab side of things
wont catch em sitting at home!

Mosman Crabs
Spent Boxing day down Mosman with the family and friends dropped nets deep and caught 7 crabs 1 size 4 just under size and 2 females full of eggs. let the size one go and pulled 10 pots 4 times very quiet fot this time of year.

I got my bag freediving
I got my bag freediving Tuesday night. Was hard work initially as were not in the numbers I usually see and found them usually hanging round the ground tackle of moorings
Found a small mussel bed towards the end of the dive would have been 40-50 of them feeding on it. Easily topped up the bag once found the mother load
