Strange thing I saw while driving to work.

Gday guys,

I was driving to work last week and saw something really strange. I was on Nicholson Road, just heading towards Albany Highway, theres a bridge that goes over the top of the Canning River which wines all the way up to who knows where. There were 2 boats sitting in the river just there and pulling out something that looks like potato sacks which had red content seeping through it.

Looks like they were fishing for river sharks but who knows. Just plain wierd I think, but I did see some kid bringing in a small Bream around the Kent Street Wier area too on the same day which had me thinking.

Cheers,

Darda.H

Sounds to me that's like the dye they use to destroy stolen (robbed) money.

Well if the Police are involved...

..it's obviously items of substantial interest. Stolen/dumped money would be my guess, of if it's red 'dye', something much more grizzly. Pre speculation at this stage of course.

bring back the street stocks

Tue, 2008-07-08 20:25

yeah, 2 big planks on their sides one on top of each
other with matching half moon holes for wrists & neck & then padlocked together once the thief is placed there! They used to throw rotten eggs & vegies at them , but just think you could slap `em with a couple of big flathead!!

I`d rather be fishin`!!!
