Stockton Lake in Collie - worth bringing a rod?

Thinking of spending some time camping on Lake Stockton in Collie.  Will be bringing the boat and ski biscuits.

As it is an artificial lake and ex coal mine site, it is apparently acidic.  Is it worth bringing a fishing rod along?  What living thing may be in there that doesn't have 3 eyes?

Some crackin big marron in there. heaps of undersize ones aswell.

There use to be red fin and silver perch aswell i think but not any more.

The lake is fairly acidic your motor and prop wil come out shiny when you leave.

As above, definately no fish at Stockton.

If you want to fish and also ski/biscuit/camp etc better off heading to Glen Mervyn, right hand turn after the Holden Dealership and follow it out. Plenty of Redfin/Trout out there.
