Twin powers are great
But Stella is even smoother and better in ways you don't need probably, but there is joy in fishing with one... or ten as some do!
What are you fishing for?
Can you afford the stella, if so maybe get it or you will always regret it a little.
I have owned both and the twin power caught no less fish and never failed. But the stella impresses others more if you care, and is a bit nicer in most ways, but not in any way that caught me more fish.
I would get a stella 5000 or 6000 if I could only own one reel.
If you were fishing light for Sambo or GT , trying to win comps with line class then those small percentage differences might matter, but unsure that is what you want.
Make sure you get the right size reel too, I started with a 20 000 and then found a 5000 could knock pretty much everything up to 20kg and was loads more fun and lighter.
Wise man says - first take the plank out of your own eye before trying to take the speck out of somebody else's.

They are the same except the
For the current model - They are the same except the spool on the Stella's are different / have an extra bearing. On that basis twinpower will save you a few hundred bucks.

Yeah I have read the alan
Yeah I have read the alan hawk review also and was very suprised. It would appear that the twinpower - stella genome is nothing like that of the catalina - saltiga. he goes on to say it is pretty much a weaker version of the saragosa
Did you read the review petervb?
